Ida Nerina joins reality talent show 'AF7'

KUALA LUMPUR: Award-winning actress and The Amazing Race Asia Season 3 finalist Ida Nerina is making her debut in popular reality talent show Akademi Fantasia's 7th season (AF7).

The 43-year-old star of the films Selubung, 1957 -- Hati Malaya and Wayang will be the acting and performance coach. Another new face on the AF7 academic team is choreography coach A. Aris Kadir

Aris is a National Arts, Culture and Heritage Academy graduate. He received the Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood Award 2007 for excellence in the arts from the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre.

Aris has been involved in the plays Tunku -- The Musical, Ismail -- The Last Days, Siti Di Alam Fantasi and Sinbad.

Acclaimed music director Hashridz Murshim Hassim, or Acis, best known for his collaborations with singers Datuk Sheila Majid and Kris Dayanti, is also making his debut on the team.
Other members of the AF7 team, announced by Astro Ria network manager Khairul Mizan Shagull yesterday, are vocal coaches Siti Hajar Ismail and Syafizawati Sharif, and motivational and English language coach Fatimah Abu Bakar.

AF7, which begins on March 14, will be hosted by television personalities AC Mizal and Sarimah Ibrahim.
